Privacy

This is a small campaign website. Here is exactly what it collects and what happens to it.

What we collect

If you sign up for updates: your email address, and your first name and postal code if you choose to give them. We also record the wording of the consent you agreed to and the date you agreed to it, because Canadian anti spam law requires us to be able to show that.

If you send a message: your name, email address and the message itself.

If you answer a poll question: your answer, and a one way scrambled code derived from your network address and browser. That code exists only to stop the same browser voting twice. It cannot be turned back into your address and it is never shown to anyone.

If you write an open ended answer: your answer and, if you give one, your postal code. These are never published on this site.

What we do with it

We use it to run the campaign: to send you the updates you asked for, to answer your message, and to understand what the community is telling us. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it. We do not share it with any other campaign or organization.

Email updates are sent through a third party email service, so your email address is stored with that provider as well as with us. Every email includes a working unsubscribe link.

How long we keep it

We will keep campaign data until Dec 31st 2026 and then we delete it.
